Episode 5: What Makes You Happy?

Lopez and Sheets talk about High School, smelliness in the old days, and what makes them happy.

Bored….

First of all, big shout out to LordFagan and his website worldoffagan.com.  Holy shit I can never stop being amazed at that guy’s damn website and spend a considerable amount of time jealous of its creativity and complication.  He’s been nice enough to mention our sham of a show in his podcast a few times in “The Internet Chronicle” and I owe him many thanks for that.  TOp to bottom, it’s a brilliant website and my special lady friend and I just spent the better part of two hours reading and laughing (and me seething) at what it has to offer.  Now, let me wipe the excess saliva from my mouth area:

I realize that we haven’t posted a podcast in quite sometime but we’ve been busy little bees trying to make things “better” for ourselves down the road, career-wise and monetarily.  To be 100% honest, we had another podcast in the can that I will most likely post this weekend.  I’ve just been unsure about it (and lazy) because it is pretty much all politics.  I decided tonight that it will just go up and if people like it, cool.  If not, also cool.  I doubt we’ll travel the political road as heavy as we did but the future will let us know.  Just hold on to your pants, we’ll get some new goodness out there.  For now, I’ll work on keeping the blog fresh with some random news stories and thoughts.  May even throw a couple of LopezRadio episodes at you for some audible goodness and new music.  Maybe, just maybe, I can get with the Sheets this weekend and get a podcast recorded.  We miss you as much as you miss us.  Cross your fingers, but don’t hold your breath.

LopezRadio Episode 5…

What up, peoples? Recorded another episode of LopezRadio tonight with a few attached songs (click the play button to stream or right-click the download link to save the file). Some (hopefully) exciting new regarding the future of the Lopez and Sheets podcast and I’m hoping that we can pull it off. Also, I get into some exhibition sex toy demonstration that went on at Northwester University in front of students as part of a class they were all taking. Finally, I get into what’s on all of our minds. White Supremacy. Totally joking but at least this story is about a White Supremacist leader that died brutally (hooray!).

For those of you that enjoyed the first song that I played tonight, it’s called “Wicked Games” by a group called The Weeknd (yes, it’s misspelled on purpose). It’s off of their brand new mixtape called “House of Balloons.” If you are interested in downloading it for yourself, hit up theweeknd.com.  Not too hard to do and it’s your in a matter of minutes with no cost to you.

Below is a picture of Faith Kroll, who is the chick that demonstrated the motorized sex toy with her man in front of about 100 students at Northwestern University.  I don’t typically go for the dread locks, but I would be okay with this one.  Here’s a link to the article with a few more pictures. She isn’t exactly a looker in some of the other pictures.  Guess you can’t win em’ all and I guess that’s why God invented more than one pillow case/paper bag in this world.

“Gotta hair product for ya, guhl.”

(get it?? Jizz…)

LopezRadio Shortie for March 21, 2011…

LopezRadio Shortie 01

What up, lovers?  I threw together a small podcast to showcase a couple of songs that I’m currently enjoying.  Click the link above to hear the podcast.  It’s only a ten minute podcast and it’s featuring a couple of Hip Hop songs.  Apologies to my non-hip hoppers out there.  You know me well enough to know that I’ll post just as much rock as I do Hip Hop, so keep your pants on (or off).  The video for Odd Future/Tyler the Creator – “Yonkers” is below.  Also featured on this shortie episode is the remix of Kanye West’s “All of The Lights” with Lil’ Wayne, Big Sean, and Drake.  Enjoy and I’ll hopefully get some more shit up here for you. THIS ARTICLE has links to all associated mixtapes by Odd Future. You may have to jump through a few hoops to get them, but the links work. Also, check out oddfuture.com
